The Mica Dam Generating Station is located 135 kilometres north of Revelstoke and accounts for 15% of BC Hydro’s generating capacity. Western Pacific replaced switchgear that was in use since the Mica Powerhouse was constructed in the 1970’s. Our team also installed new equipment for the two newest generating units.
