October 24, 2016

WPE was delighted to receive the following email from the Business Manager of the Saskatchewan IBEW Local Union 529 Garnet Greer on the success of its members working on the Saskatoon Civic Operations Centre:

The Saskatoon Civic Operations Centre is a P3 design-build 500,000 ft² state-of-the-art transit operations facility built to service the City of Saskatoon. WPE was awarded the role of design-build electrical contractor in early 2015 and was strategically led from start to finish by WPE Project Manager Andrew Fettback. The Saskatoon Civic Operations Centre was a successful project on all fronts meeting and/or exceeding safety, quality, and client expectations. In the July 2016 issue of the IBEW 529 newsletter WPE iterated these sentiments in a featured post:

WPE would like to thank and congratulate all members of IBEW Local Union 529 on their demonstrated quality workmanship and professionalism, and give special mention to the following IBEW 529 members for their contributions to this project:

Al Plett, Superintendent; Simon Hansen, Superintendent; Dan Downs, General Foreman; Chris Somerville, Foreman; Neil Freisen, Foreman; and Phil Zbetnoff, Foreman.

Thanks again to everyone for a job well done and we look forward to pursuing projects together as a team in the future!
